LC Goyal Appointed as the Union Home secretary 

LC Goyal Appointed as the New Union Home secretary on 5th Feb 2015.During his appointement he was serving as the Union Rural Development Secretary.

Union government on 4th feb 2015 appointed LC Goyal as the Union Home secretary and the term of Goyal would be a period of 2 years and he served as the IAS officer of 1979 batch.

Earlier, Goyal had served in the Home Ministry as Joint Secretary (Internal Security) .
