Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visited Nepal on 4th August 2014.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visited the Nepal on 4th August 2014 on a two day visit and during the Visit the Prime minister addressed the Nepalesse Parliament Narendra Modi was welcomed with great honor.

This was the First visit of the Indian Prime minister to Nepal in 17 years and Modi was assisted with a team of 101 delegates including several ministers accompayning him.  The visit was aimed to forge a new relationship with nepal and to start a new chapter in bilateral ties which serve as model.

Announcements Made by Modi:

  1. He announced that India will give 10000 Crore Nepali rupee for its development purpose.
  2. The pipelines will be built for transport oil to nepal.
  3. Scholarships to students of the Nepal
  4. India would build the nepal emerge as the major exporter for the Herbal medicines.
  5. India will also develop the Tourist potential of the Nepal.
  6. He also assisted Nepal with the organic farming and Soil health.
