Staff Selection Commission of Southern Region Chennai has been invited the applications for the recruitment of various vacancies of posts of Group B and C Candidates who satisfy the required eligibility criteria can apply for the recruitment of SSC ,All desired candidates must under go the complete recruitment notification first through below mentioned link

1. Junior Technical Assistant-5 posts
2. Quarantine Inspector- 1 post
3. Research assistant-1 post
4. Asst Programmer - 9 posts
5. Asst Epigraphist - 2 posts
6. Artist Grade II - 1 post
7. Sales Asst- 3 posts

SSC Required Eligibility:

1. Candidates appearing for these above mentioned recruitment must not exceed 30 years of age limit except for Artist Grade II 25 years is the upper age limit
2. The age relaxations are applicable as per government specifications.
3. Candidates appearing for Junior technical Asst should possess Degree in commerce , Economics or Law.
4. Candidates appearing for Quarantine Inspector should possess Bachelors of Science with zoology or Microbiology.
5. Candidates appearing for Research Assistant should possess Masters  degree in relevant discipline
6. Candidates appearing for Asst Programmer should possess Bachelor of Engineering and technology.
7. Candidates appearing for Epigraphist should possess Masters degree in Tamil | Malayalam | Telugu | Kanada with ancient Indian History as subject of bachelor degree.
8. Candidates appearing for Artist Grade II should pass Matriculation or any equivalent examination or diploma.
9. Candidates appearing for Sales Assistant should possess Intermediates or possess equivalent qualification.

Selection process

Candidates will be short listed based on the selection process of Proficiency Test and skills test and interview basis.
