IIT (Indian Institute of Technology ) Guwahati which is the 6th Member of the IIT Fraternity , which was established in 1994. The academic programs of IIT Guwahati has been commenced from 1995.

Required Eligibility : 

1. Candidates appearing for Project Fellow should possess education in B.Tech from respective branches of study such as the ECE , CSE ,IT , EEE or MA in Linguistics or equivalent with the additional research experience 
2. Candidates appearing for Junior Fellow should possess B.Tech in ECE | CSE | IT | EEE or equivalent or MA in linguistics with specialization in Lingustics.
