Nasa Launched Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 to track Carbon Dioxide

NASA has been launched Orbiting Carbon Observatory -2 on 2nd july 2014 for detecting the Carbon Dioxide which is the main responsible for Global Warming,it has been launched at Vandenberg of california.

The OCO-2 has been managed by the NASA Service program by Kennedy space center at Florida and was handled by the Jet Propulsion laboratory in california.

The OCO-2 mission worth of 468 million US dollars.The mission lasts for 2 years and in these 2 years it will be producing all the reports related to global warming of detecting the Carbon Dioxide which is the cause for Global warming.

The space craft contains only one instrument which purpose is the only to detect the Carbon dioxide. Which is related to Global warming of Green house effect.
