World Bank President Jim Yong Kim Arrived India on Three Day Visit

The World Bank President who was Jim Yong Kim has been arrived in India on 21st July 2014 for a three Day Visit to meet the Prime Minister of India who was Narendra Modi and to meet the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley .

the main purpose of his visit was the to discuss and understand the development priorities of the India.He will also visit the World bank Assisted Project Sites in Tamil Nadu for increasing and to find out the rural Urban Development.
  1. International Finance Corporation which is the Private sector for the World Bank has so far mobilized to 1 billion dollars off shore ruppee program which was aimed to provide strength for the Capital markets.
  2. The assistance received by India During the 2013 and 2014 from the World Bank was announced to be 6.4 billion dolars and his include 100 million dollars.from the clean technology fund.
