Tamilnadu CM Jayalalitha held guilty in Assets Case on 27th September 2014

The chief minister of Tamilnadu J Jayalalithaa was found guilty in assets case by the high court of Bangalore and the Jail found the Jail term to 4 years and fined a sum of 100 crores to her.

The judgement held for about 18 years old case and now declared for the in appropriate 66.65 crores rupees by the bangalore high court apart from Jayalalithaa the court also accused three others in this case who are of Sasikala  Natarajan LLavarasi and Jayalalithas disowned foster son VN Sudhakaran.

with this acquistion Jayalalitha became the first CM to become accused with the conviction to held the case in dis appropriate assets .

The Supreme Court on 10 July 2013 had held that chargesheeted Members of Parliament and MLAs, on conviction for offences, will be immediately disqualified from holding membership of the House without being given three months’ time for appeal, as was the case before.
