Wales Declaration of NATO summit on 4 & 5 th September 2014
NATO is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Summit was held in wales on September 4th and 5th 2014.This was the first Summit held in the United Kingdom.since Margaret Thatcher welcomed NATO leaders to London in 1990.
More then 60 World leaders have been attended the NATO summit Ukraine and Afganisthan were the top among the leaders in NATO Summit.
The summit was also attended by the US president Barack Obama.and this was the first sitting summit attended by the Obama in Wales.
Meaning of NATO
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) also called the North
Atlantic Alliance. NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance based
on the North Atlantic Treaty which was signed on 4 April 1949.
The last NATO summit was held in Chicago in 2012 and the next NATO Summit will be held in Warsaw, Poland in 2016.
