Tea Board of India postponed Implementation of Plant Protection Code on 31st August 2014.
Tea Board of India has been decided to post pone the Plant Protection Code on 31st August 2014 which was supposed to be implemented from the 1st September 2014. The Implementation of the PPC was postponed till January 2015.
Some of the other Provisions of the Code will come in to play from September 2014. The decision for the Post Pone was taken by the Tea Board of India after the meeting held in Tea industry and the main reason behind this was that the small Tea growers needs time.
The plant Protection code contains the document which depicts that how the Cultivation is done by safely using the Chemical with out effecting.
